Simone Donadello from INRiM joined the Optica Sensing Congress 2025 in Long Beach, California USA, end of July, to present results related to the SENSEI project.

He reported on recent achievements about laser interferometry, showing the ability to detect anthropic and natural events along fibers and locate them with < 1 km resolution. The event localization ability represents a relevant achievement for laser interferometry, enabling distributed sensing in coexistence with telecom data.
